So, about this whole long boarding thing. Tons of people do it in my hometown and EVERYONE at my school does. I get it, it seems like a lot of fun. The one thing that I really don’t understand is why everyone thinks that they’re too cool to wear a helmet. I had a conversation with a young gentleman called Thor (yeah, that’s his real name) and I tried to explain to him the importance of a helmet. My assumption is that he’d hit his head too many times to understand my point. PROTECT YOUR BRAIN!
YES. Who ever wrote this, thank you. My brother fell off his long board at two thirty in the morning on the fourth of july while we were in Iowa. He cracked his skull, so we had to drive fourteen hours back home to make sure he was okay. He cut my vacation short. That was to only vacation I got this year. AND HE CUT IT SHORT.
I feel strongly about this subject. Wear a helmet.
